2 Red scarfs ''Blessing mandili' for Greek Orthodox Wedding is very common tradition in Orthodox wedding, in Greece and Cyprus.

Traditional red scarf blessing ceremony where red ''mandili'' is used in homes of bride and groom for there preparation and blessing before they set of to the church wedding ceremony.
Red scarf is wrapped around the bride and groom 3 times by their parents, grandparents, close relatives and close friends.

For the bride this signifies her virginity and for the groom his fertility. 
During the '' Red scarf blessing'' usually musicians sing the traditional songs that makes this ceremony even more beautiful!!!!
