ANCIENT GREEK STYLE Pair of Orthodox Wedding Stefana GOLD ''Greek key'' ribbon decor and ivory silk ribbon connect 2 crowns together. Stefana is 1.5cm tall. On the back side of each stefana have simple ribbon ''knot'' ( not a classic bow like on my other designs). Available with White or Ivory silk ribbons. Please choose in drop down menu. The tiaras (Stefana Wedding crowns) represent the connection of two people, the rings that connect the chains of their lives. The Orthodox Church uses the Stefana (Tiaras) to emphasize the holiness of the connection of the bride and the groom. During wedding ceremony priest ties the ribbon of the Stefana that have to remain together forever. Elegantly handcrafted Stefana are one of the few objects of the ceremony that can be preserved by the couple as a souvenir of the wedding in their new home.
